Who we are and who runs the platform
edupango is a platform for learning German grammar by feel. Every case carries its own color and every word type its own symbol, so structure becomes something you see and sense, not a table you memorise.
What edupango does
German cases are where most learners stall: a web of endings that falls apart the moment someone tries to speak. edupango colors them instead of explaining them. Right answers fit, wrong ones clash, so the mistake is visible before the rule is known.
The platform covers article and gender rules, the four cases, sentence building and free writing, with a grammar engine that colors what a learner types as they type it. The interface comes in the learner's own language, so nobody has to meet German through English first.
Who builds it
edupango was founded by Luca Sotgia, a Goethe-certified teacher of German as a foreign language. Over thirteen years he has given more than 10,000 hours of one-on-one lessons, and the color method grew out of that teaching rather than out of a textbook. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Innovation Research.
He is not building it alone: a backend developer brings the technical architecture to life, and a doctoral neuroscientist, once a language student of his, oversees the science behind the spaced-repetition schedule that decides when each topic resurfaces.
The name
edupango is written as one word, edu plus pango, and the logo sets it as edupango. The platform is operated by EDUPANGO UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a company registered in Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
