Website: What We Collect
This website does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. When you submit your email address to join the waitlist, we store it solely to notify you at launch, stored with a hosting provider within the EU (Supabase, Stockholm, Sweden). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Google Fonts
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). When your browser requests a font, your IP address is transmitted to Google. This is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in consistent typography). Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
App: Data Processing
Within the edupango platform, we process your email address to provide your user account, and learning data to deliver and improve the platform. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data is stored on servers within the EU: the platform and the grammar engine run on Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany; the database and account management run on Supabase in Stockholm, Sweden. We do not currently use any AI/LLM providers to process your data; the platform's exercises are rule-based. Should this change, we will update this privacy policy before any such processing begins.
Placement Test: Data Processing
When you complete the free German placement test, we collect your name (required) and optionally your email address, company, native language, learning goal, and full test answers including your result and skill breakdown. This data is stored on cloud infrastructure within the EU (Supabase, Stockholm, Sweden). Your name and test result are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing and improving our placement service). If you provide your email address, it may be used to follow up with suitable course recommendations; legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in B2B outreach) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) where applicable. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@edupango.de.
